These terms govern your use of ridememo.com and its route discovery, saving, comparison, sharing, and contribution features. By using RideMemo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum age and other requirements applicable where you live. If you cannot enter into these terms independently, a parent or guardian must agree to them and supervise your use.
Account sign-in uses Google. Keep your Google account secure, provide accurate account information, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. Signing in lets you use personal features; contributing or editing public route guides may require approval. We may limit or revoke those permissions.
Ride safely
RideMemo provides route information, not a guarantee that a route is safe, legal, accessible, current, or suitable for you. Maps, GPX tracks, distances, elevation, road conditions, difficulty ratings, community notes, and AI suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. Closures, weather, traffic, access rules, and trail conditions can change without notice.
Check current conditions and permissions independently, obey traffic and access laws, use appropriate equipment, and choose routes suited to your abilities. Do not trespass. Do not interact with the app while doing so would distract you from riding safely. Offline downloads are not a substitute for preparation or emergency assistance.
Acceptable use
Use RideMemo lawfully and respect other people, property owners, and third-party services. Do not upload unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content; disclose another person's private information without permission; interfere with the service; bypass access controls; introduce malicious code; or use automated requests that disrupt the service or evade limits.
Only import data or connect accounts you are authorized to use. Third-party services, maps, and datasets may have their own terms and attribution requirements.
Your contributions
You retain ownership of content you contribute. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload tracks, text, notes, and images, and for reviewing any personal information they contain.
You grant RideMemo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, process, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate the service and the sharing features you use. This includes processing route geometry, generating route summaries, and displaying content you publish or share. It does not transfer ownership to RideMemo.
Published content can be viewed and copied by others. Shared collection links can be forwarded. We cannot recall copies someone has already downloaded. Public guides may remain available without an account association after account removal; contact us about withdrawing content or removing personal information. Limited copies may remain in backups or where legally required.
We may review, edit, decline to publish, or remove content to maintain quality, protect users, enforce these terms, or comply with law. We do not promise to review every contribution.
Service content and third parties
RideMemo's software, branding, and design remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not grant permission to resell the service, claim ownership of another person's work, or remove required attributions. Any separately published software or dataset license continues to apply.
Google sign-in and optional integrations are subject to their providers' terms. RideMemo does not control third-party availability or content. AI-generated suggestions must be checked before you rely on them or publish them.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account information, route data, cookies, connected services, and information stored on your device.
Availability and account closure
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may restrict accounts that violate these terms or threaten the service or other users. Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice. You may stop using RideMemo at any time and request account deletion.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RideMemo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You are responsible for your route choices and riding decisions.
To the extent permitted by law, RideMemo and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from use of the service. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights concerning negligence, fraud, personal injury, or mandatory consumer protections.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms. The effective date identifies the current version. We will give additional notice of material changes when required by law. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them, subject to any consent requirements under applicable law.
For questions about these policies, privacy requests, or account deletion, emailsupport@ridememo.com. Include the email address used for your RideMemo account; we may ask you to verify ownership.
